There are a lot of God believers who think God made the human being.

Just curious, are there any Atheists who don't believe in Evolution, and if so, what is your Theory for the Origin of the Species?

I believe in the process of evolution. There is too much proof to deny that organisms became more and more complex of the Milena because the fossils are organized in levels; the less complex being at the bottom then working it's way up. However, as to the actual dawning of life, I'm not totally sure. Viruses inhabit that space between living and non-living matter. So maybe somehow that is the link between living and not living organisms. However, I don't know nor can I explain. I try not to believe in evolution dogmatically.

How can you be an atheist and not believe in evolution?
I believe in the evolutes that Apes and humans evolved from a similar ancestor, which had traits of both a human and an ape (since skeletons were found it seems pretty real)
EDIT:
and i'm sorry "baby girl" why in the hell do you seem so sure about this? YEP, BECAUSE THERES MORE PROOF OF GOD THAN THERE IS OF EVOLUTION. THAT MAKES SENSE. NICE ONE. NICE!
ANOTHER EDIT:
For felecia-ene or whatever, you do know imbreds are retarded and deformed right?

I suppose that there are some oddballs that might be convinced that we were planted here by aliens or something...but it still doesn't answer the question about where the aliens might have come from.

Atheists usually put their trust in science because unlike prayer and faith it actually has real-world effects. And even then they are skeptical of particular claims in science. If it isn't backed with evidence, then it's merely a hypothisis...or even a mere assertion.

Can't imagine an atheist not believing in evolution! That's all a part of the Humanist religion.

Most atheists and agnostics believe in evolution.

Most Christians believe in evolution.

Most people who are capable of independent thought believe in evolution.

I imagine that some atheists know nothing of it -- so don't have a belief.

One day the cosmic and all powerful Turtle of Eternity got indigestion and vomited the universe into existence.

I'm Christian, AND I believe in evolution (since it's been proven to be a fact).

If you ask me, God just works through evolution just to make His existence look all the more vague, and faith in Him all the more meaningful. :)
