Are you asking about the difference in Punjabi and Hindi Languages? There are a lot of similarities in these while speaking . Punjabi and Hindi both have derived from Sanskrit and Urdu . But the written Scripts are quite different .
Punjabi is written in Gurmukhi Script and Hindi in Devnagari Script ( same as Marathi ) .

No.
In any case, Punjab is a state and Hindi a language; so I'm assuming you meant Punjabi.
They are similar but not the same; spoken Hindi and Urdu are closer.

Not the same but they sound similar if you don't listen carefully. Hindi rocks Punjabi, much more common and it is the language of Bollywood.

They are not the same language. Both are derived from Sanskrit & have different scripts. Punjabi is spoken both in India & Pakistan. There are several words that are common to both languages.
