Attend daily. Take notes on everything. Review yor notes and your syllabus. Put due dates on a calendar where you can see them daily. Ask questions in class. Do all assignments. Work in an organized manner every day. Prepare for all tests. Return information the way the instructor asks for it.

Listen to the teacher during lecture. That way when you study or read the book, you will understand the material.

make friends with a nerd, pay attencion, study for tests (can be as easy as reading a chapter in your text book again, ask questions after class if you don't want to seem like a teacher's pet
