I shaved my balls, to put it lightly, and that whole area for the first time today and now my nutsack is red and irritated from the electric razor. It hurts like hell. I'm going to put some aloe on it and it'll be fine, but how can I avoid this in the future, when it grows back?

You have sensitive skin, which means that you should just let the hair grow. Get some diaper rash ointment for while it's healing. Never shave it again, or you may develop scarring. And waxing and hair removal creams also do a number on your skin. Just let your bush grow out in its naturally sexy way or you'll be walking bow-legged for a long while.

You irritated ur sensitive skin in the process...

No biggie. You'll live.

Aloe creame may also include menthol which will make it burn more.

Put some First Aid brand first aid cream on ur nuts and that should stop the burn.

You should be ok.

Buy a Gillette Mach III razor set and shave in the shower WITH the grain (from root to tip of hair). Make sure u have a strong stream of water coming outta the head of the shower to rinse all of the hair out between each stroke.

Don't use Bic or any cheap blades like that.

The metal that they use is of a lower quality and they are not as sharp as those of more quality blades. It's like cutting a steak with a standard kitchen knife...NOT effective!

Continually dipping a razor into a dirty bowl of water is not good either.

Some cheap low fragrance/unscented shampoo for shaving will do the trick...like Suave.

Don't use baby oil, cuz ur pores are open and the oil will clog them and create zits.

Make sure the water is as hot as u can handle and the bathroom door is closed so u can have a good steam built up in the shower. Obviously u need to stand away from the hot stream of water to avoid scortchin' ur family jewels.

:-)

You may also wanna consider using a beard trimmer (T-Trimmer) which u can get from a place like Sally's Beauty Supply to clip the hairs (with the grain of the hairs) as low as possible and then use a wet razor.

Take your time and stretch ur nut sack so you will have a straight surface for shaving rather than a bumpy surface from ur nuts being recessed. It might be better to do this at the end of the day when ur sack is not tight and u r relaxed and the skin is pliable.

If u buy the T Trimmer, buy some spray-on coolant/disinfectant/lubricant for the trimmer. Get an old toothbrush and clean the blades in the direction of the blade teeth after each usage...then lubricate/disinfect.

So the process is (without using the beard clipper):

1. Shower as normal with HOT water.
2. Shampoo the desired area.
3. Wipe away excess lather.
4. Shave with hair grain.
5. Rinse razor under water stream
6. Shave with grain..
7. Stand under cooler water stream to rinse.

U may miss a few hairs on ur balls while shaving in the shower...even if u have an overhead light. So, turn off the water in the shower, don't dry ur nuts, but quickly get outta the shower partially soaked. Now that u are in better light, u can bend to get a better view of ur nuts, locate and shave any missed hairs using a dab of shampoo for lathering.

Hop back in shower for a quick final rinse.

When ur done, you'll have "softballs" and be a hit (pun intended) with the women.

Best wishes, Playa!

:-)

That should work for ya.

You were probably too harsh on the shaved area. Make sure you use an anti-bacterial soap, and a good moisturizer (MOISTURIZER, not make up remover, not alcohol, not anything that might make the stinging or irritation worse) and wear loose clothing for the next three days. If you shaved too close you might end up with ingrown hairs, however because of the anti-bacterial soap you shouldn't have any bumps. Be careful when you shave and use clippers rather than a razor next time.

Did you use any kind of lubrication? Lotion? Shave Gel? Also, soaking those bab boys in a bath for a bit might help too. Try shaving in the direction of hair growth.....Use some power afterwards. I dont have balls myself......but this sounds good to me. Get'em slick and have some fun!!! Good Luck!!

all the above answers are good but also i want to add, dont do it dry, ok! I dont know if u did or didnt but im saying it just incase do it while u are taking a warm/hot bath or shower and I agree with NOT using an electric shaver! Plus if it was the first time you did that its normal for your skin to be irritated; after a while of doing this your skin will get used to it ;)

A bowl of hot steaming chicken soup would help you feel better right after a close shave .. by the way shaving your balls not such a great idea sure it makes it look bigger but in the long run who want 2 pissed off porcupines trapped in there shorts

Ok, my hubby does it. He uses a regular razor (not an electric..ouch), you need to shave WITH the way the hair grows, NOT against!! Use conditioner, like you would on your head (on your shoulders lol), leave it on for a bit in a warm shower (this will open the hair follicles). Keep shaving, it itches when it grows in and is VERY annoying/painful to the woman you are with.

First thing never use an elctric shavor for the simple fact it leaves small fine hair that irrates the skin. For your situation now buy Luberderm lotion. This is a special lotion that is medicated for such instances. ( skin irratation ) For future use a razor and possible sensitve skin shaving cream and Luberderm afterwards. Hope this helps you.

1. don't use an electric razor, they rip and pull rather than cut the hairs.

2. use sensitive skin shaving cream

3. Use baby powder afterwards.

Dude!!! Tell me this is a joke! If you must shave your balls, use a safety razor not an electric razor- OMG, I am laughing so hard I can't stand it.
