how come my mom can eat apples and be fine, but when she drinks apple juice (even the pure stuff) she gets a migraine???

probably because the apple is in it's truest form. an apple verses apple juice is totally different and has different properties. chances are your mom needs that certain something in the actual apple that is lost during process to make the juice.

check if the apple juice is free of colorant and conservatives... they are VERY allergenic
