My parents went. They loved it all. There is a remake of it in Walt Disney World. That was awesome! My favoite part was when you walk into that little house with Jesus's tombstone and it says "He has risen". That put tears in my eyes. All that is there is a robe.

Yes, I went to Israel for a couple of weeks in '98, when it wasn't too violent, before the Intafada.
I only spent a day in Jeruselam and didn't bother with most of the religious sites as that is not my interest.
The Dead Sea, as viewed from Masada was very impressive and memorable. An oasis with descending waterfalls znd pools in the heart of the Negev desert was stunningly unexpected. A kibbutz on the Shabat was bizarre !!

I've been to the holy land in Flordia and it sucked. It was a lot of money to get in and it was so small. There was a one hour tour of the history of the bible that you couldn't leave until it was done. I never went to the real holy land but my guess is that its a lot cooler. LOL
