What do you expect. the fundamentalists to take a piece of evidence and actually ponder the meaning, and therefore their beliefs? lol

they will either pray, or condem you.

I'll flush their beliefs down the crapper. http://flushaholybook.com

I don't see how we can PROVE what happened 300,000 years ago when we were not even here. How can we put a date on things when we had no idea on how the Earth REALLY was? For instance, we can figure out how long a body has been dead by chemicals from the earth and air. This maybe be true, but how can we know for sure that the Earth had the same body and air to decompose something in the same time frame as today? It could have happened in a second or years for that matter. We just know for sure how it happens today and how fast depending on the place and weather. For all we know, these microwaves variations could have been around for 500 years

They found evidence suggesting the earth is very old, but that doesn't rule out creation as the way the earth was started. What about the verse which says, "A day unto God is like unto 10,000 years for man" (I think that's the King James Version.) 10,000 was a number used to represent the largest number humans could comprehend. So if Genesis says "6 days" it could very well mean six times longer than anyone can comprehend.

If creation happened 300,000 years ago, is that really a problem?

They rather doubt microwave existence than god existence, you know, "the microwave nonsense". Even though microwave existence do not rule out god existence. Man, can people get more defensive when it comes to their dogma? Some didn't even stop to think for a second.

Next time I feel like having popcorns, I'll ask god to prepare them, you know, wish some prayers, instead using the microwave. Just to test how effective god is with simple tasks like that.

Dr. Hugh Moorhead, a philosophy professor at Northeastern Ilinois University, once wrote to 250 of the best-known philosophers, scientist, writers, and intellectuals in the world, asking them,"what is the meaning of life?"
some offered their best guesses, some admitted that they just made up purpose for life, and others were honest enough to say they were clueless. In fact a number of famous intellectuals asked the professor to write back and tell them if he discovered the purpose of life.....I personally think atheist Bertrand Russell said it best: "unless you assume a God, the question of life's purpose is meaningless"

how can the earth be older than creation...was it not the first thing to be created? and so therefore creation as well?, and if the earth was not here first, where would God have put us anyway? ...people just kill me...think about it
