I held a long distance relationship for 2 years, then he got horny and got another girl. I tried it again for 7 years, we are married with children now. It could work it all depends on the effort put forth by both parties. Good luck!

You have to be very carefull when you meet a woman from another country. There are many reasons why a woman would be interested in a man from another country, love not being one of them. All I'm saying is, be very carefull and go into this with your eyes wide open. Some women try to scam men from other countries into buying plane tickets, or money, or maybe they just want to live in this country. Long distance love is not always what it first appears to be. You NEVER, EVER really know someone until you have spent a lot of time with them person to person. They can say anything they want you to like in order to keep your interest. A lot of people lie on the internet just to make you fall for them. So be carefull!

So long as she isn't asking you to foot the bill and isn't trying to take advantage of you, then I see absolutely no harm in this. If you two have hit it off, and the feelings are mutual, go for it. Life is too short not to have experienced true love, and even if you get hurt in the end or it doesn't work out, which you should maintain as a possibility, you will certainly learn from it and be able to put that knowledge to use in future relationships. Good luck!

Hmmmmm....this is an interesting question. I think long distance relationships can last, because I did it with my now husband when I moved away for school. It just makes things harder. I don't think you are stupid for thinking you could have a relationship with her, but long distance is hard and the fact she lives in another country will make it even harder. Take a piece of paper and write the pros and cons on trying to make this work, see what you come up with.

Good Luck

i had the same problem....but u are right, she will probably leave eventually, unless u propose and she says yes lol. but long distance doesnt work long term, really....as hard as u may try, being faithful to someone u dont see or dont hear or dont touch is not a fully functional relationship. of course u can try! and GL....go with ur heart :)

I think you are thinking to far ahead here. It's only been two months. Just wait awhile and then think about it again.
