A monk named Charles Darwin went to the Galapagos Island. He wrote a book entitled the Origin of the Species. Since then the Theory of Evolution has been shaped and developed, based on evidence to support a Natural Selection.

DNA, fossil records, etc. Carbon dating.

Since all these evidences have been gathered, and the Theory of Evolution becomes more a reality for an explanation,

What has happened to the human races beliefs in God?

There is plenty of new evidence for the theory of evolution since Darwin. However, there are also more accounts of angelic and supernatural activity due to better worldwide communication. Belief in God is growing also across the scientific community as quantum and string theories have gained in popularity.

"Darwin's actual views on religion were somewhat complex and varied over his lifetime, and he tried to avoid controversy, but he tended towards agnosticism or weak theism. " Mathematics, 1916

Whether or not Lady Hope exaggerated Darwin's conversion or recantation of natural selection, I feel relatively certain he would be appalled by the use of "natural selection" as the sole resource of human life. I believe his theory is well supported and evidential. I cannot, however, determine that our equation of time is correct. Is carbon dating accurate in God's time? Does it exclude creation? That a man discovers an aspect of life does not mean that his is the complete explanation. It only means that he has found a piece of the whole. That Darwin had some issue with God over the death of his mother when he was eight years old and the death of his daughter and that his family was rather liberal in beliefs had some impact on his faith, or "weak theology". Isn't that possible?

Actually, you shouldn't use 'carbon dating'. Fossils can't properly be carbon dated. You need other forms of radiometric dating for fossils. Most evolutionary processes require too much time for carbon dating to be useful.

Since when has the adaptation of a species been considered to be evolution? As in, no one that created it? You don't walk up to a house and say, gee, spontaneous combustion must have put it there. No, there was an architect, a builder, and workers.

Same thing with life. Someone started it. Carbon dating and DNA support dates and chronological timelines of events in the bible.

Billions of people planet wide believe in a creator, whether or not they believe in his son, Jesus Christ. Most people don't like to think that there is a higher power out there in control of things, that they aren't the ultimate decision makers. But just because we don't like something doesn't mean its not true. I may not like my boss but that doesn't mean he doesn't exist. He's there. He signs my paycheck. Because of him I have a house, car, and food on my table. I'm grateful for it.

Actually there are more Christians today than ever before. Evolution has been propped up by our schools systems and it still has not managed to prove itself true. In fact it is science that disputes evolution. It will fall on the dust heap of other bad science.

Charles Darwin was no monk! Evolution is a myth created and adopted by godless reprobates to justify their putrid sin.

It is fading. I doubt people will actually believe in god anymore in a few hundred more years, if we haven't blown ourselves up by then.

He's a long dead dope-head. You think that God doesn't matter. I think that Darwin doesn't matter.

Nothing. The faithful are immune to reason, and the rational are immune to faith.
