I mix some oil, a touch of vinager, some A-1 sauce, and coat both sides.

Then I grind on some pepper, shake some onion POWDER, and some Lawry's season salt.

Cover dish with plastic wrap, and let sit in the refrigerator, if possible overnight.

Let sit out on counter 20 minutes or so before putting on the grill.

KILLER.

It depends on the kind of steak. But if you like flank steak there is a great marinade that has balsamic vinegar and teryaki sauce. The steak melts in your mouth.

don't get hung up on all that commercial stuff. the best is a dry rub of pepper and garlic pepper or garlic salt. if it is cooked right, then you will taste the flavor of the steak and not some artificial bs. btw, those who use a-1 should be lamb-basted and thrown on the grill themselves.
