Is the kitten newborn or a few weeks old? If it is a few weeks old, it could be an upper respiratory infection, which is really common in kittens and also very contagious to other cats. If it is a newborn, it could be from handling it too much. If it doesn't clear up or if any of the other kittens get it, I would suggest taking them to the vet, as it could be a number of things.

Holly, don't worry too much. Your kitten has a little cold probably. Kittens and cats get a cold rather frequently and you will notice a teary eye from it. There is little you can do for it other than to let things take its course. I really don't know of any sites on kittens. Good luck!!!

Hi, You can get a visitor password to Pandecats.com, they have a lot of free articles on cats and kittens. This is an on line cats magazine that is used by cat breeders. They also have a Vet on staff. Another good source is I Love Cats.com. Good luck with the babies.

Momma cat will take care of the kittens. You don't have to worry about a thing,. She'll even litter train them for you. I wouldn't worry about the eye unless the other kittens get it too.

Usually that means that the kitty has an eye infection. Take it to the vet to make sure. He will give you some medication for it. It depends on how old it is too. If its just born then It should be OK, but still get it checked out.
