I came upon Joel Osteen's show this Sunday on ABC Familly . He was discussing something about believing in yourself . I only saw the last 10 minutes of it but it was great! I have a hard time believing in my self , I have bi- polar. I am exploring relgion and thinking maybe it will help me towards my recovery. What do you think?
I have looked on the internet and the program guide on the statilite,
and can't seem to figure out when it comes on . I have dish network . I tuned into TBN at 10:30 last night and it wasn't on. I live in the mountain time zone ( new mexico) , Can you help me find the times it airs? I want to see the show again. But I guess I could deal with seeing it Sunday on ABC familly.

I think it's great that you are working on your bi-polar disorder, but looking to religion is a waste of time. Have you tried taking meds? Seeing a licensed therapist/psychiatrist? Your odds of recover are much much better by following that route. Why would you expect god to heal you but let you have the disorder in the 1st place?

Here's an analogy to what I'm talking about:

Imagine that I, a doctor, am sitting in a rocking chair next to an exposed wire and watch a 6 year old kid walk up to the wire and just sit and watch as the kid sticks it in his mouth and half of his face melts. Then the parents run up to their child and try to make him comfortable. Then they look over to me, ask me to help, and I continue to rock in my chair. They get 200 friends to implore me to help, so I stand up from my chair. I operate on the kid and he is all better. Am I a benevolent being? or a megalomaniac?

Honey, I live too far away from you to be helpful, but as to watching him, can't do it. Everytime I see his handsome face and hear his sexy voice, I don't think about religion at all. So I keep turning the channel.
