Although there are medications out there that help with anxiety, I tend to prefer trying to treat things without pharmaceuticals if possible, because all pills have side effects and it would be my luck that the one pill I took was suddenly pulled off the market for life threatening reasons.

Having said that........the best way to cure anxiety is to actually face your fears head on.......in a carefully planned way.

Everyone has fears of something.........and most people tend to avoid the things they fear. You can't imagine how liberating and freeing and confidence building it can be if you succeed in facing your fears and are triumphant!!

I used to be so afraid of speaking in public. I would hide in the back in meetings and never ask a question and pray that I was never called on. Well, that just wasn't a way to live a life.......so I signed up for a course called "Dale Carnegie" which teaches how to speak publicly with confidence. It was an amazing and life changing thing, and I'll always be grateful. I'm no shrinking violet now, and I raise my hand and ask questions whenever I have one.

I have a friend who is afraid to sleep alone all night in her home by herself. Her husband just started working nights and she works days. It's a necessity now......so she needs to face why she feels afraid. Is she worried that someone will break in? If so, get better locks or check statistics on crime rate in area. Get the facts.......and then be careful that you don't watch anything scary on tv before bed.

We all are afraid of something........so just discover what makes you feel anxious and then devise a plan on things you can do to reduce the anxiety and then face your anxiety. Afterwards, you will find that the fear was much worse than the reality.

You can do this!!

Don't ever take the sleeping pills route!!

1. They will damage your liver big time and you can get into serious health problems.

2. You will get hooked up on them and you won't be able to have a normal life any more if you don't take your pills everyday.

The sleeping pills industry is damaging our health by capitalizing on our ignorance, and by distracting people from effective and natural ways to deal with this problem. I had been taking prescription sleep medications [Ambien] for over 5 years. It stopped working and I simply took more. Still did not work. Nights were very difficult - medication put me to sleep but I would wake up after 2–3 hours with a strong sympathetic response (fast pulse, pounding heartbeat, wide awake alert). It was a very difficult cycle to break. I was really in bad shape due to lack of sleep.

After years of struggling I was able to cure my insomnia naturally and pretty fast. I followed the Sleep Tracks sleep optimization program, here is their official web -site if you want to take a look: http://www.insomniacure.net

Ohhh..and Good Luck!

Everyone suffers from anxiety sometimes. You might feel your heart beat faster. Maybe you will sweat more .. or feel like you can't sit still. Check it out with your Doctor. Okay ? Good Luck! :)

all of those symptoms are from anxiety. Heart burn is from stomach upset (anxiety) frequent urination is from tension (like when someone has to go cause they're nervous) and the burning sensation in the arms is probably from nerves or inflammation (both come from stress) you need to find activities that are calming to you. also try to exercise every day, get plenty of rest, and keep stressful people & situations to a minimum. good luck-

Anxiety attacks/panic attacks make you feel as though you are having a heart attack. Your heart races and you feel like you have no control. I don't know what the indegestion is from other than you could be sick to your stomach when you worry.
The other symptoms I don't know about so you would be better off to go to a doctor.

I feel like I can't breath and my heart just races and I just shake. I also have acid reflux which is under control now. I hate the other symptoms though. I don't take anything for it and I try to talk myself through it. It only happens when I'm really stressing about something and especially if I'm overly tired.

My friend, first of all,it sounds like you eat spicy foods, drink lots of fluids, andhave some sort of rash. Anxiety is a whole other ailment that your symptoms don't suggest you have. Take some tums and get your prostate checked.

Ive never had a burning sensation in my arm or frequent urinating, but I have had heart burn and indigestion. Usually I feel kinda dizzy, my heart beats faster and I feel really anxious like I have to do something NOW.

Not officially, but sometimes I think so. I just get completely restless and unexplainably stressed.
