My baby's are ten years apart as well. It is like your first time again. I was like you and nervous about everything as well. You are fine try to relax. You can be dialated for weeks b4 you deliver. The back pain is probaly because of the extra weight. Your obgyn will know if you are going to deliver early.

I am a mother of 3, and I have to say... call the dr... thats what I would do... I lost my mucous plug very early with one of my girls and had to be very careful, no swimming, no baths, only showers... things like that. Just be careful. you dont want to be in a breech situation again. You sound like you are scared and in pain. Try to relax. Good luck, wish I could help more.

you should be on at least pevic rest, preferrable semi-bedrest, or even full bedrest. If you continue cramping, ask your doc for meds. THere are pills you can take to stop the contractions. I was put on bedrest and the pills at about 32 weeks, they helped me through, I delivered full term. Good Luck.
