Nothing -- since there's no such thing as an unclean spirit, there never was one in any person, and one never left any person.

Thousands of years ago, when people were ignorant about how things really work, when someone did something really bad or started acting strangely, everyone said they were possessed or had an unclean spirit in them. They'd do elaborate rituals, or burn them, or thrown them in water with weights to see if they could drive out the spirit. Nowadays we know that it's just mental illness, and we treat them with science and medicine. Isn't knowledge a wonderful thing? :)

He is free of the unclean spirit and becomes clean. It depends on how powerful the unclean spirit was, if it was very strong then chances are the spirit will come back for revenge with spirits stronger than itself so what that person has to do now is to pray to God for protection and study the bible.

when the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest and finding none, he saith i will return unto my houde whence i came out. and when he cometh he findeht it swept and garnished then goeth he and taketh to him himself and they enter in and dwell there and the last state of that man is worse than the first
