The Branch Davidians were led by a pedophilic idiot.

The Branch Dividians had violated several federal laws (including and not limited to: underage marriage, polygamy, and serious firearm violations). The Clinton administration (specifically Janet Reno) would have you believe that after a long stand off, David Koresh and the Branch Dividians torched themselves, but that is not true.

I watched a special on the stand off and it was unbelievable to find out some of the atrocities that occurred. Dead bodies were mutilated with tanks tracks, children were gassed to death (in the hopes of their mother maternal instincts kicking in and pulling their children out).

Using technology that was not then available it is clear to see that the tanks that (had just recently punctured air holes in the compound) fire a flammatory item to burn the people out. The U.S. Government has not treated anyone as unjustly since the Mormons, and the Native Americans.

That's a good question. It wasn't only Waco, it was Ruby Ridge and the Illian Gonzalez (sp) cases. Federal Building in Oklahoma City was also bombed by home-grown terrorists.

An English nutter who started the Dravidian religious cult in Texas and developed paranoid delusions and delusions of grandeur.
I'd forgotten, Janet Reno was out to prove herself as good as any man at the time and ordered the police in unnecessarily when they could easily have been starved out.

Religious freaks molesting children and stock piling weapons. Their leader, David Koresh, claimed he was the Messiah.

A stand off with the ATF resulted in What A Cook Out.

ATF got tips of large amounts of weapons being stored there, which was true, and when they asked to search they were refused.I don't like how that went down, but Koeresh wasn't entirely free of blame for what happend.

That would be Janet Reno and Louis Freeh, but mostly Reno. She never did anything right, even before Clinton appointed her.
