ok so this girls is really shy, and so am I. heres the problem because shes used to having guys approach her and talk to her so she can mess around with them, the thing is im really shy and im known for "not talking." My mind simply can't think of anything to say and she said i make her uncomfortable by not talking and so she is quiet with me, but I really dont think of anything to say. She told me I seem too serious and I overreact because she was carrying a lighter. well most people think im funny and patient, smoking is just one of those things i dont tolerate and it wasnt that big of a deal because i kno she doesnt smoke she just thinks their cute idk lol. i let it go. stil the serious thing, i cant get over being shy, so i can show her the fun side of me everyone else gets to see. i need to fix this because shes my homecoming date, we have an akward feeling between us and I really need to get over it. I didnt think she saw me as the serious type, i thought she could tell i was shy

ya i actually do go on and on. im not very shy once i get comfortable but at the beginning im very very quiet. she is also very funny and loud too, but shes waiting for me and im used to girls coming up to me because im shy. i can approach girls i kno well and be fine, but this girl im having trouble. obviously i ogtta make the move and talk to her. my mind just think of anything to say, i swear if it did i would say it lol. i could sit there all day and not say a word. how do i get my mind to work? lol

shy? i was a shy guy before.
here's how to overcome shyness.
3 words: "TALK TO ANYONE"
challenge urself. try talking to 3 ppl in a day. this 3 ppl could be anywhere u bump into. start by asking questions. like,
"how are you? good? " with a thumbs up sign and smile.
"how do u do it?" "where u are from?" "dude !! thats a cool iPod !! where u get that?"

soon, u can think of 100 questions when u meet her, and then u are on ur wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy to win her heart.

come flat out tell her you are shy. If you know this girl there has to be something that you two have in common that you can talk about. that will break the ice and you should be able to chat long enough on 1 or 2 of those topics to get comfortable. You are simply trying to hard. she knows who you are so you have no reason to be trying to impress, just be yourself and have some fun. the first impression is done so you can't mess it up :P relax, act natural, have fun. that is all there is to it. it took me forever to learn this, I am the same as you.

It's all OK to feel that way. don't force it, just talk don't you know what she is interested in, in. Let her know how, that, that's the way she even makes you feel, and take it from there it riding a bicycle for the first time.
From your writing it sounds, you've known her for a while know,i don't think that it will cause her to change, if you miss the spot in a casual converse, just be smooth ,and don't concentrate too hard on words,just talk about what she likes and eventually you will get the henge of it.
