Yeah, I know I should have PhotoShop instead. Due to finances, I'll just have to limp along on the el cheapo photo editing software that came with my PC for now. My question is this: I need to take line art(my black&white cartoons), and put solid, saturated colors below the B/W image. I can't get the layers palette on this program to do that. I can put color on top, or color a separate layer, but no matter how I try to merge the layers, it always puts the color ON TOP. Any suggestions?

I don't have that program, and I couldn't find info online, so I can't help specifically, however, I can give you the links of some free programs that might work better from what you are trying to do.

imagine of layers as sparkling plastic wrap. you commence with the bottom image. then you quite upload a layer (or plastic wrap) you could draw in this accretion without unfavourable the unique image. therefore in case you shrink to rubble you could in simple terms delete the layer and commence with a sparkling one. Did that make any sense?
