Worrying about death and aging causes you to aged faster and send you quicker to the grave. Science is not reliable and is non-absolute.

Death, for a Christian, means meeting our Lord. No fear here.

As for science increasing longevity... I work in the health care field, mostly with geriatrics, and I can tell you that while science has indeed increased longevity, not much improvement has been made in the area of quality of life in the most senior years. The body fails, and while science may be able to keep it alive a little bit longer, it still fails. So many older people have told me that they would have rather died than live to be in their 80's or 90's. Of course, this depends on how well an individual holds up. I've seen some 90 somethings in pretty decent shape really enjoying life. Most of them had few health problems and had relied very little, if any, on science to increase their longevity. Those who have been kept alive my medicine and such still suffer from their ailments, even if they are kept from dying.

Our bodies wear out. That's about all there is to it. I don't know how far medicine/science will progress, but I highly doubt that the aging process will ever be reversed or even significantly affected.
But, who knows. Who would have thought of heart transplants, artificial hearts, and all the other stuff 100 years ago?

It still comes down to the fact that we are going to die and, I believe, there is an eternal existence after that. I choose God over the fire. How long I live is up to Him.

Science has already increased longevity. In some cases I think people are kept alive longer than they were meant too.
As far as aging goes, I say, bring it on :) I'm looking forward to a long life (God willing)
Death is no big deal. I'm confident in where I will be when I die.

Science, improved diet, has already increased the average human lifespan. But when you look at it compared to the age of the planet the lifespan of any person is nothing, just a vapor here this moment and gone the next.
I intend to live life to the fullest, but I’m comfortable with death when it comes.
If the comfort of the Spirit is any indication of what is in store for us in the afterlife. I’ll be ready whenever my time comes.

Aging and death are all part of the curse. Adam sinned, and death passed from him to all men. The longer we live, the longer we are subjected to the curse, I don't need longevity, because I know where I am going when I die.

I am happy to be alive and every moment is a gift.
I am also happy to be a child of GOD and my home is heaven. So sometimes I am torn between the two. I am so glad I don't make that call. I am 40 and there is very cool advantages to being old. There is also some draw backs. I am all about riding this life the best I can. Its a cool ride! Death is even cooler!

GOD bless ya

I don't mind death, I know where I am going. I worry about my loved ones after I am gone, but I know that God will take care of them. About aging, I don't think that I will like being to old to do what I like, but like death, it is a part of life. I will have to take it all in stride and be glad that with my age comes stability that I didn't have when I was just starting out. I guess I will have to wait until I get there.. but no, I don't mind death...

Death and aging is a natural process to help keep the balance of things. Imagine nothing dying. We would run out of space.

i think it's a gift. while i don't necessarily like the aging process, it is a gift. while you age you grow - in spirit and knowledge. it also gives you more time to prep for you "final exam" ; )
death is reality and i think those that try to prolong it are afraid. i'm sad for them, trulyi am. while i mourn over the pssing of love one - i mourn for me - not them. i know they are happier, i'mthe one left behind who's selfishly sad - but it's okay -even God said there is a time to mourn.

I don't like this aging thing, but I don't mind the thought of leaving this place in God's time. My bones are aching and it gets worse every year...haha
