I have a hard time memorizing, and I've read that it is related with concentration. Are there ways on how I can improve concentration to better improve my memorization?

Maybe you just aren't memorizing the right ways. Try saying it out loud a lot of times. Writing it out a lot of times. Or working it into some sort of rhyme or song. These all work for me.

I always use association. Let's say I need to remember a date for a war or something in history, I try to find something I have in commone with the date. Bad example, but anyway, if it was the tragedy of Sept. 2001, I would remember that it was on my nieces birthday, 9/11. Association always helps.
