Lots of liberal so called christians have the false idea Jesus was a wimp. Jesus was not a wimp. He said to carry a sword and not to be afraid to use it. Jesus was a lot like George Bush is today. If the city doesn't want to follow Jesus then jesus said to slay them. It is better to do that than let them have additional children and raise them to be against god.

He said to brush the dust of the city from their feet and move on. Because those who do not want to see, will not see and those that do not want to hear, will not hear.

Brush the dust from their clothes. - It cursed the city, which is an evil thing to do as it is not at all in line with forgiveness.
