Sounds like new age mumbo jumbo and I would not think that that "church" is christian.
By the way, the Bible was not written in Aramaic, the Old Testament was Hebrew (then translated to Greek for the LXX version). The New testament was written in Greek with occasional Aramaic words.

The Bible was originally written in Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek. The parts of the Bible that are Aramaic come from Ezra, Daniel, and one verse in Jeremiah.
There is an Aramaic version of the Bible, but it is unlikely that this woman is talking about those.
I would be cautious about any church that has "New Thought" in its name. It smacks of heresy. Many people, including unbelievers, have Doctors of Divinity. These diplomas do not insure that the person you are dealing with is born again.
It is rather amazing. There are theologians who do their best to discredit the Bible. My question to them is this: "If you succeed in your mission to destroy the Bible, and the faith of its readers, what will you do for employment? It is occupational suicide."
That is the mindset you are dealing with. Paul speaks of this best: "I know that when I'm gone savage wolves will come among you and not spare the flock. Indeed, some of your own men will come forward and distort the truth in order to lure the disciples into following them. So be alert! Remember that for three years, night and day, I never stopped warning each of you with tears." (Acts 20:29-31)
Teachers like this woman are merely trying to draw away disciples to themselves. They preach "another Gospel." (Galatians 1:8)

That would be a Metaphysical viewpoint.
Goes with:
- Crystals have magic powers
- Healing of auras
- All the founders of the great religions are "one" and are just teachers (eg Christ, Buddah, etc.)
- etc.
If she has a Doctor of Divinity, it would be more than likely a "DD" or "D. Div.......not a Phd.
Her viewpoint would be more on the realm of pagan thought, not Christian thought. Of course, if you ask her, she will say she is not pagan. But, if you compare, they are the same.
The NT was written in Koine Greek and their are extensive transcripts that prove this. To this, I can attest she is complete error.
My opinion, don't go back.

From Wikipedia:
Aramaic - It is the original language of large sections of the biblical books of Daniel and Ezra, and is the main language of the Talmud. Aramaic is believed to have been the native language of Jesus.
I would have asked her to give me one sentence in aramaic. Jesus never did say anything about the trinity I believe. And there are many mistranslations, deletions, and additions

sounds a bit strange -
acts 17:11And the people of Berea were more open-minded than those in Thessalonica, and they listened eagerly to Paul's message. They searched the Scriptures day after day to check up on Paul and Silas, to see if they were really teaching the truth.
you need to look for false prophets, they are out there

Sounds more like a no thought church. None of it makes much sense to me but obviously they have some followers so I guess I would have to look into further before I really knew what to tell you.
