Cats go in and out of heat until they are bred or spayed. She may be in heat for a few days, or a week, then out for a week & right back in. Spay her and it will stop...

Well I never got past the first night and kicked mine out the door second night quiet few weeks later kittens.
Cats can stay in heat for four to ten days at a time - after that period is up, ... cat will keep going in and out of heat for quite a long time - usually 7 or 8 ...If not spayed it seems endless sorry:-(

a week to two weeks. When the caterwauling gets too much for you, put kitty in her kennel (or cat carry case - if its large enough) and put the kennel in an enclosed space like the laundry room. Turn off the light, close the door and leave kitty in the dark - she'll soon sleep. Then you can have a break!

Hi surely feel for you. I have a female that hates to go outside so I have never gotten her fixed. She lets out that almost hurtful cry for about a week. If you feel that you want to mate her, then this is the time to allow that. But if not, and she trys to get outside..you may have unwanted kittens in your future. If you don't want kittens, and she likes to go outside, please get her fixed. Hey, you can always invest in a pair of ear plugs if nothing else hee hee..Enjoy your cat!

well we have a cat that is in heat now and she been doing it off and on for 2 years now. I guess they will do it until they die or get too old I not sure. But also if she is fixed and then you don't have to worried about. But it seem that if they are fixed they get fat our tabby did. but all three cats are loving. I pray for you

Spay your cat. If she manages to get out of the house, you're going to have an even bigger problem than her wailing- in the form of lots of teeny tiny little feet.

she will keep doing that till she finds a mate.i have a female cat that did that.whenever she is almost ready to have babies(about 60 days after mating)she will probably keep on meowing to you and try to get you to help her get a comfortable spot to have her babies and to feel protected.our cat did that too.

spay your cat.. honestly

unspayed females not only are anoying but every heat cycle ads to her risk of cancer (and obviously pregnancy) so I strongly encourage you to spay your kitty

It only lasts for a few days but go and have her spayed if she is that annoying and then you won't have to worry about unwanted kittens.
