I bet you can't. So why should anyone believe?

Why not take Jesus's human life as an example of how to be kind and challenge the governmnet, but reject the "miracles" and "ressurection" that never happened.

Dismantle the church, and free your mind & soul.

Faith is the ability to believe with your heart what all common sense tells you is improbable. You either have faith or you don't, no proof needed.

No, I'm a Renaissance Humanist with tendencies toward Wicca.

Let's start with this: Jesus born, lived, and died 2000 years ago. He didn't have an army. He wasn't wealthy. He didn't really DO anything except, the one thing that still has people talking 2000 years later... he rose from the dead. When the apostles went about spreading the word of the Gospel, they weren't hundreds of miles away. They were right in the same city where it happened. The same city where hundreds of people saw Jesus AFTER he had been crucified and buried. If someone doubted the story, they could ask. There were plenty of witnesses. It wasn't so much who Jesus was or what he said that make us Christians have faith. It is the EVENT. It is the fact that he was crucified, died, was buried, and rose from the dead. That is why you have heard his name and why you ask the question you are asking today. If this were not a true and historical fact, who would have ever heard of this carpenter who hung out with fisherman, sinners, prostitutes, and the like 2000 years ago? I'll bet Jesus wasn't the first guy to say he was the Son of God. I bet he wasn't even the first one to yell and holler at the religious leaders of the time. He was the first, last, and only one to be nailed to a cross and then rise from the dead 3 days later. That's proof enough for me.

Sounds like your pretty closed minded. Did you get that from some philosophy professor at college? I get a kick out of people like you who think you have all the answers but don't even know all the questions. Where did you learn that all wars are started in the name of religion, atheism 101? That lame argument has been going around for years and anyone that brings it up just shows how much much they parrot someone Else's ideas instead of searching for the truth on their own. And why does it bother you so much that others do believe in God. Maybe your right and there is no God but the people that believe there is have lost nothing because of their beliefs where as if they are right, well you get the picture. You might do a little soul searching and ask yourself why your filled with so much anger and hatred.

Can you prove that it didn't happen. Today the Bible is taken not just as a religious text but also as a book of history. The resurection of Christ was kept to just his believers so I will not use there testimonies as witnesses. However. This is also recorded.

52 And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose,
53 And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.

Now I really don't care what you believe. But I believe in the resurection and you asked for Proof. Here it is. If Christ did not Resurect then why did "many bodies of the saints rise and apear unto many. " Again I ask you can you prove that it didn't happen?

OH GOD! No pun intended but now u will have all the religious people pissed off! lol I also believe that if u live and treat others with kindness and love then all is well. I see way too many hypocrites in church! A prayer said alone means alot more than one said in a group! WHY? Because if u r saying it alone- your not trying to impress anyone just talking with the Lord.

you are right i beleive he wasn't

but the Lamb SLAIN still lives!!
cause if L=iL when cut in two and m=rri and b=.lD
means
Lamb SLAIN=Larri.lD SiL A I IV(stitched together) appearing as IIII I stitched cuts. And thats the true ressurection of a Lamb SLAIN not magic voices or hypnotism and also He is biblically said to be THE KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.

so even though Larry is what my id says to the italian children it would have to be larri cause those special Jerry's kids wouldn't understand the y. cause wasn't the axis powers called the Jerries?

ressurerect=rill e's sure cut (but not killed most don't survive killed but SLAIN is open to interpretation)

So is the LORD a Man?

cause cut the M into IVI I and n into ri them Man=IVIIari(stitched together) but who in the hell is gonna knight him? most probably want him dead or in their power.

People choose what they want to believe in.
The Bible contains the written testimony of many. It would be enough to convince a jury in a court of law, but not for you.

If someone can talk you into something, then someone else can talk you out of it. So the best thing for you to do is to convince yourself. That way, you will KNOW what you know.

There is so much evidence and obviously the Holy Spirit isn't working currently in you- the whole Bible points to Jesus' life and death and resurrection. His life was taken because He was the sacrifice for our sins and also His miracles were valid. Jesus once risen also appeared to many people. He appeared to men on the road and his disciples and He showed Himself to many people. The angels also proclaimed His resurrection. There's tons of evidence-all you need is a little faith
