i'd be fine with it..its halloween, its not like he wants to dress like a girl everyday. A lot of my friends used to dress up like girls for halloween...girls dress up like guys. Not only that, but its a cartoon. Let him do it, if you are worried if he's gay, i doubt it, but even if he is...he's still your son, and you can't prevent it.

No problem. It's a costume for Halloween. Would you be asking questions if he wanted to dress up as Jason or Freddy? Let the kid have some fun. Now, if he wants to wear the get up at school the next day, come back and we'll talk!

first you should find out if this cartoon character is a idol to him. Do he like her, thinking shes pretty? because a child his age does'nt know anything about being gay or drag queen unless he's exposed to that environment. I'm pretty sure he likes the way she fight or the way she is feminine. If thats the case let him be that for halloween. For closure as to you (the parent) alter the costume to a male version of her, but without him knowing the difference of course.

If the situation is deeper then that and he say he wants to be a women or like other boys, as a woman, you can't handle that situation.Let his father teach him, or father figure teach him.

Halloween is a time for fantasy and dressing in costumes that take a departure from your normal way of dressing. I wouldn't be any more concerned if my son wanted to dress up like a girl than if he wanted to dress up like Frankinstein. I wouldnt make a big deal out of it.

I would let him do it...and be laughing the whole time. Hey, men sometimes dress up as women for Halloween...why cant a boy? My son is also 11 and i wouldn't have a problem with it.

let him do it- it's halloween and the idea is to wear a "costume". My son dressed as a girl one year around that age and I think it was one of the best costumes he's ever worn. Not to mention it was very inexpensive!!

Let em do it. He obviously admires her style , looks like she's some kind of action hero. I could see a boy wanting to dress up like her. She really doesn't look like a traditional girl. It's not wonder woman he's trying to emulate. Little girls dress up as boys all the time, my daughter wanted to be batman last year, so she was, Who cares? Didn't hurt her any, plus now this year she wants to be catwoman.

No problem, I did it at that age. I looked so much like a girl that they thought I was, and would not let me play soccer. I changed back to a boy so fast your head would spin and never ever entertained the idea again! Cured!

I would let him. He is probabally doing it for fun. Do you think he might be gay because of this? If so, I hate to tell you, but forbidding him to dress up like a girl won't change anything!

When I was in 8th grade the big thing was for the guys to dress up as cheerleaders. I wouldn't htink twice about it. He is just being a typical boy.
