What's the best software to get rid of runtime errors?

I keep on getting this when I use my internet Explorer -Program: C:/Program Files/Internet Explorer/iexplore.exe Runtime Error
And I have seen lots of software that eliminates error but which one is the best?

Quit using Internet Explorer. Start using firefox: http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/

You need to install Java RTE (runtime engine)
Goto java.com and install it.
