there is no diffrence in the wire you get from the shop except insulation color just so you know which is which easy, the ground wire should ALWAYS I REPEAT ALWAY BE THE SAME SIZE AS THE POWER. In other words sure have a field day with it, just make sure you can tell the diffrence so you dont put your power wire in the ground input on the amp that might get nasty if you do

oh definatly wire is all the same-no matter what color-if it says 1ga its 1ga-(or 1/0)its all got the same strands of wire-so as long as your ground is the same gauge as your power wire you are perfectly fine-hope this helps

Absolutely. 1/0? That's big power. SCRAPE THE PAINT FROM THE VEHICLE! A POOR GROUND WITH AN AMP LIKE THAT WILL FRY IT!

If it's all copper and you double it, you will be fine. You don't have to tape it, unless it looks bad. Don forget to identify it as the ground.

Cable is cable, the only factor that concerns is the place that's hooked as much as and the place it is going. you do no longer desire to hook floor the place the ability cord is going. the colour codes is in simple terms convenience.
