Check with immigration before you plan anything. I worked with an international student who had one nigerian parent and one russian parent and she was studying in the US. She left the US and had major problems returning because of the nigerian part, not the russian part. Some countries are sort of 4th class in the eyes of the immigration system and Nigeria is one of them.

no you will not be able to bring him back. my friend married a guy from Nigeria in 05 it took a year and a half before they ok'd it for him to come over for them to get married. with a spousel visa which is what u will have to apply for if u marry him before u apply for the application will have to wait until ins gives u the of b4 he can come over.
I suggest that u apply for a fiance visa that way while you are waiting for ins u can price what it is gong to cost u and save the money u need so when ins ok's it u can just go over and marry him and bring him home with u as long as its within 90 days
A forwarning; ins is going to give u pure hell trying to bring someone here from Nigeria. Nigeria is on the watch list because of possible terroist actions. They are really going to screen his application. I suggest you find a supportive friend. you will need one. One last thing the application cost money and you will need a lawyer.

I'm not sure, but for the person to become a US citizen, they need to marry you in the US. (You could always get married in Nigeria and then goto a courthouse or wherever and get married in the US..again.) Plus, if they have a passport, they should be ok to come back.

If he have been given a existence time ban we wont have the means to come back in. communicate on your nearest US consulate and notice in the event that they are in a position to develop the ban if he gets married to a united statescitizen. If it is not achievable get married in Mexico and pass to Merida,Yucatan maximum suitable city in Mexico.

you've got to file some type of paperwork for him to get his residency I believe.
Ask an immigration counselor. Don't take Y!A as a reliable source.

I'd consult the embassy on that one. I'm not sure if you are going to get the correct answer you are looking for on here.
