I'd want to be in a plane because I am dreaming of becoming an airline pilot. And helicopters travel short distances, planes can travel to other cities, states, and countries. And I beleive it's much more extroadinary than a helicopter, in my opinion.
So I'll just have to say, I prefer a plane.

Helecopter. They can go places planes can't AND they can hover in the air.

Helos are o.k. for the first few hours. Then the vibration, shaking, noise, etc. just wear on your nerves. The big helos are more comfortable but less maneuverable (and more systems to watch). Anything with a fully articulated rotor head and hydraulics is pretty fun to fly without the as much vibration and stick shake. But if I had my choice and didn't live in controlled air space it would be the Piper J-3 cub. No electrics, no radio, just me and the sky..

Neither. I'd rather be an airship like the Graf Zeppelin 1.
I'd get to travel around the world with lots of party people, I'd be hauling the best wines and food, and I'd be far more fuel efficient than either a plane or a helicopter.
Just feed me helium, please. Hydrogen gives me heart-burn...

Depends what kind of plane (if it was the new multibillion dollar jet the U.S. army just built, then that of course); but I think i'd pick a helicopter because of its maneuverability.
