Newborn children have the effects in the human race of Original Sin. They do not have the sin itself. Genetic defects are the result of biology, not morality.

The children may suffer because of a parents sins, but inbred children aren't the only ones. What of a drunk for a father, what of a parent that doesn't provide food and clothes for the children. Some parents beat their children.
The children are still without sin. They are without sin until they become the age of accountability. Knowing the difference between right and wrong.
A person killed in a car crash by a drunk, is paying for the sin of the drunk but not held accountable for the drunks sin.

The Bible talks about God visiting the sin of the fathers on the third and fourth generation of this children. This doesn't mean that He counts the sin of a parent against a child in the sense of them being guilty of it. It means that when parents sin their children will often suffer as a result of it. Just like if someone has a drunkard for a father he or she isn't going to have life as easy as someone who has a God fearing father.
The good news is that whenever a person turns to Christ by faith and is born again by the Holy Spirit they have God as their Father and He will work all things in their lives together for good. Even a person who has genetic defects will be able to experience the comfort and security and supernatural provision that God their Father will bring into their lives. And when they leave this body they will receive an eternal glorified body and experience fullness of joy in the presence of their Heavenly Father and their old life will not even come to their minds for the rest of a wondrous eternity!

Only the original sin.
A genetic defect is not sin. It is a medical condition.
There are however, some generational sins that tend to be passed down, like child abuse, spousal abuse, alcoholism, and various attitudinal things that kids tend to pick up on and incorporate into their lives. Sometimes these are hard to overcome. That is why The Savior wants to come into our lives, cleanse us, and help us overcome these things that often cause so much damage to people and relationships.

In the old testiment, they were told not to lie with their cousins, or aints, or mothers or dads, or sisters, or their brothers wife, or any on thoose related, and babies are not born with sin, THEY DON~T DO ANYTHING but sleep and eat, and go potty, how could they have sin, when the Bible says they are Born in sin, its taliking about the world it is born into, not that they are born with sin. That do`t make sense, If we ask for forgivness, and we don`t ever sin again, then do we have sin? of course not, when we grow up we start sinning because we know what sin is, we know right from wrong, and we do wrong, but babies do nothing wrong. so they have NO sin.

no, that is a roman Catholic belief unsupported by the bible, the pope has just announced a new ruling regarding unbaptized children , that they will go to heaven
inbreeding isn't a sin, it may not be wise but it isn't a sin
