I'll tell you a secret:

If your hair were straight, you'd have wanted it to be curly forever! =D

Just enjoy being the person that your alter ego wants to be.

Forever is a relative term. If you are young, you will change your mind with your style- and that will come often (high school, then college the off to the working world). I have curly hair as well and I hated it when I was younger, but now I love it. I straighten it every once in a while and its a nice change.

If you have seriously decided that you want your hair straight, then inquire about getting your hair chemically Japanese straightened. It will last about 3months but then it will start growing out. This means that your roots will start to get curly and frizzy and the rest of your hair will be straight. You will have to re-straighten it everyday until you can do it again. And- its not cheap! Plan on spending a couple of hundred dollars each time...

Idk how true this is but I heard in a research magazine a woman's hair changes on average about 7 times in a lifetime. So wanna hear a story? too bad if you don't. When I was younger I had freakin' straight and long hair and it was fine but once i got to be like 11-12 I wanted to have it curly ( nothing's good enough for me! ) so I got it permed. Now, I know what you're thinking the perm will go away, and after years I would outgrow it right?!? WRONG! It was wavy/curly ever since and I straighten it every morning! Bummer I know! So, be thankful for your hair. I doubt it will change from super curly to super straight over night but it won't be the same forever so embrace it while you can. I suggest getting sum hair care products to keep it from getting frizzy but shapes the curles, my mom does that and lemme tell you it looks great!

Since hair grows every day, there is absolutely no way you're going to be able to change your hair forever. The best you can do is straighten it out and keep straightening it out every week or two weeks for the rest of your life.

Good luck with that. It will never happen. Even if you have a perm, new hair grows in and it will follow the natural tendency to curl right back up.
