When I was 17, young and stupid I was. I never have since then and don't anytime soon, God was watching out for me that night.

Yes I have, and it is one of the dumbest things I've done. After having been drinking for a little while, I got a call and had to go somewhere, I didn't have a choice there. I couldn't get someone to drive me, and they would have been over the limit too anyway, and ended up driving myself. Nothing bad happened, but it was still dumb. I have a friend though that hates drunk driving, but got so drunk that he forgot he was against drunk driving and drove. He passed out at a stoplight and a cop found woke him up in the morning and gave him a DUI.

No but one day, someone decided to, and my uncle, who was the designated driver, you know, doing a good thing, got hit by a drunk driver, and he died. Cool right? Yea its really not. My dad, to this day, still blames himself for that. Anyone who drives drunk, is stupid. I'm glad that they are going to be putting breathalizers in cars soon. You can't start your car unless you pass. How would you feel if you killed someone. Someones uncle? Someones baby brother? Yea...19 years old...thats horrible. I hope you aren't asking this because you've done it. Because if so, you're an idiot. A complete idiot. If you're trying to brag because you think its cool, then wow, get a life.

Many times, I don't recommend it. I've had car accidents and I've been charged with 3 DUIs but only convicted on 2 due to a great lawyer. Drinking and driving cost me not only tons of $ but also my freedom for awhile and also cars. I now don't drink at all anymore it's just not worth it.

When I was younger I nearly had a head on collision with a family in a station wagon. It was that close call that caused me to quit drinking. I could have killed an innocent husband, wife and children just for my selfish need to get wasted and drive. There is no way I want that on my conscience.

So I have very little (actually NO) sympathy for people who drink and drive and kill or risk killing others. If they want to kill themselves, who am I to stand it the way - but when they risk other people's lives - thats over the line, WAY, over the line.

As long as there is another drunk person in the car with you, you're alright because they can check to make sure you're driving straight and tell you you're doing good.

No, but my ex boyfriend and I went camping, we saw these two dogs and they were lost and hungry, so we picked them up.
My ex and I started drinking and got into an arguement and he left with the dogs, did not come back all night, left me with nothing but the fire to keep warm. He came stammering early in the morning, his clothes were partly burned and an opened gashed in his chin. He had rolled the van and it caught fire and the dogs were burned to death...........................
