cat nip has a sent of urine which can only be dected by the "cat" faimly including cheetas and lions this basicly turns them on and makes them act funny, and horny like my cat lol hope it helps

I'm not sure but all three of mine just love, love, love it! One of them will eat about half of his canned food then give me the stare down until I sprinkle a bit of that magic herb on top, then he finishes eating.
