i say go with low lights AND highlights. It makes your change not seem too dramatic and it makes your brown hair seem lighter and more exuberant (don't you love that word? lol)

Yeah, i almost got that done but didn't have an appt. --i say go for it. You're not too pale though are you? if you are ask for more focus on lowlights adding on to the highlights--he/she will know what that means.

You do not have to bleach your hair to go blonde. You can put in blonde coloring and it will come out fine. I dont really think that is you put a bunch of blonde highlights in your hair it will look that great. I would go someplace and just buy a dying kit instead of a highlighting kit.
Good luck

When highlights are done, they use bleach to, probably a better brand than the ones you could buy at Rite aid or savon those damage your hair. depending on your hair color i would try dying it a lighter color every time.

To get highlights you have to bleach your hair.

i think you should just dye it blonde, it makes life MUCH easier instead of trying to highlight every piece of hair on your head
