i take a pizza cutter and cut the tortilla into how ever many slices or "chips" you want. i usually spray mine with a bit of pam baking spray then lightly season with garlic salt. put them on a cookie sheet in the oven set at about 250 then keep an eye on them until they crisp up as you like. this is a low fat version.

The previous answers are the way that I do mine.
A nice 'sweet' version is to spray with a butter flavor pan spray and then when they come out of the oven, sprinkle the chips with cinn/sugar mix and yummy, yummy. Serve with pudding, fruits, etc., Or just serve the plain ones with salsa, or use as a base for oven nachos.

cut them into smaller (chip sized pieces) add any spices you may want or just leave them plain, put then on a baking sheet... single layer only, then put them in the oven at around 350 for 15 mins or so... that hsould give you some nice chips!
