Don't Give UP! Determination and confidence you will gain ,sometimes things often go wrong, the road on which you tread may seem all rugged, at times you want to smile but you have to sigh or cry. Then rest if you must and with full confidence don't give up.

Life seems strange with its up and downs as we all experience, many times failure stares you in the face. Its when times are its worst end that you must never , "oh never give up"

There is nothing more beautiful than life. There is so much that life has to offer you , there is no need for you to harm yourself or harm anyone else. Have you tried praying, there was a point in my life when i thought about killing myself but i chose to fight you can never give up. Get a holy bible and read Philippians chapter 4 verse 13, 1st Corinthians , 13. Speak to someone, a family member or a friend of your mom's. Life is full of opportunities don't ever think of throwing it away. I had a sister who died from leukemia and when i thought of killing myself and saw that she wanted life and i wanted to throw away mine, i felt really guilty.

I have so many experiences i could share with you ,but remember this my friend i have been there and i will never go back there. God listens when you talk to him it may not be an answer right away but he does listen.Take my advise!

If you're in school, go to the Counselor's Office or the main office. There is no shame in admitting this, and the staff in either office would be able to help. If you're not in school, look in the yellow pages for various assistance programs. Medications are only one method of treatment, so do some research and see what else is out there. Most communities also have a suicide hotline, so if you are truly having urges to hurt yourself or others, call the business line for the police station or 911 and ask for the hotline number.

Look for the cause of your depression - find out why you aren't happy. Is it your family life? Is it school? Is it the lack of social interactions? When you figure out why you are depressed, you can make lifestyle changes to make you happy. List all of the activities that you like and do well. Try to do something on that list every single day - even if just for a little while. That builds a positive self-esteem and provides enjoyment in your life. Write a list of things you would like to be better at to, and work on those activities once in a while. You can also talk to school guidance counselors for advice and information.

First, if you are a younger person, it is relitivly common. But you cannot cure depression on your own. You need a trained professional to help you through this.

Medicine is not a bad thing. It can truely help a lot!

You need to learn the reason why you are depressed. You might already know this! But, at the same time, you need to talk with someome who knows their stuff!

Talk to your Mom some more and help her to understand what you are going through. Be honest with her and it will be easier for her to understand. She wants to understand, you know.

I am an older adult and have been where you are now. Good luck with this and your future!

Honey, visit http://www.yellowribbon.org - and reach out to someone. Is there a teacher, or a school counsellor you can talk to? A pastor, or adult friend you feel comfortable confiding in?

You're not alone - even tho it seems that way sometimes. Give people a chance to help.

Take care of YOU

Call a helpline or write in your diary. Talk to a close friend or an adult you can trust. Seek up your school counsellor or someone else who has some qualification and might be able to help you.
Don't ignore depression, it's not something you can simply snap out of. Please get help now.

Make yourself get some exercise. Start with a walk around the block and do a little more each day. If you do something, anything, it may put you in a better mental state. It’s worth a try.

Hey sweetie. I know that people get a little timid when you bring religion into things. But it has been put on my heart to say this. Even if you don't like it...at least you have read it:

PRAY! even if you don' believe in God...try it.

God bless sweetie and you will be in my prayers.

whatever you do dont hurt yourself or commit suicide. a friend of mine was very depressed and cut his wrists. he would have died if his sister didnt walk in at that moment. my friend ended up in the hospital for a bit. he said he saw a light and then everything went black (which was wierd because i had a feeling he would try to commit suicide.) just go to a school counselor if youre still in school. if you cant do that, think of youre best qualities, or join a sport or a group youre interested in. hope it works ive been through that before i almost drownd myself

You need to have another talk with your mom and tell her that you need to get some help. Maybe she did not understand that this is something that is really bothering you. Also talk to friends and guidance counselors.
