I'm in pretty good shape, I count the calories i take in everyday, Is drinking alcohol bad if your watching what you eat/counting calories? is alcohol fatning? I know it depends what you drink so maybe like vodka or rum or something along them lines? thanks for your help

yes, all alcoholic beverages have calories and they are empty calories..usually about 125-150 calories per drink..normal everyday sized drinks...they provide you with absolutely no nutritional value..so if watching your weight, don't drink...

Yes, alcohol has TONS of calories. Binge-drinking (more than 3 drinks in 3-4 hours) is one of the biggest causes of obesity! Of course counting calories will help keep track of what you eat, but alcoholic beverages don't list their "nutritional information" so be careful! Mixed drinks using numerous types of alcohol are the worst.

if you are in good shape, then why would you want to drink alchohol? it isn't fattening or anything, but why damage your body like that?



if you must, drink vodka. ;)
