You shouldn't like the guy then. Relationships are built on trust, and he should trust and believe you first, not your friend. If you don't like another man then that "friend" really isn't your friend and she is spreading rumours about you to tick you off because shes jealous.

Why would a friend say such a thing? Maybe she is not such a good friend after all. The only thing you can do is explain the situation to him and show him that you love him. You can't make him believe you.

I Don't think she's much of a friend.. and just talk to your boyfriend tell him what you feel from the heart after all if you to really love each other you'll see eye to eye.

Ditch the guy,
If you have not lied to him or caused him to ever distrust you then he shouldn't take someone else's word over yours
If he doesn't trust you enough to take your word over any other person's then you have no trust in your relationship, and he doesn't deserve a girl like you.

so i take it you do not like the other guy,
well then you need to take action like today or tomorrow,
tell your boyfriend in a serious tone that your pissed your friend told you that cause it's not true, and that he needs to trust you.
Also, you need to tell your friend that your pissed at her and you'd like her to tell your bf that it aint true.
