He will tell you in due time. In his own time and own way he will let you know everything you need and want to know about his feelings for you. Don't push him to tell you anything you could be pushing him away. If you know he loves you, that's all that matters right now. Be glad you have a man that loves you!!

He might have been hurt in the past, so he's hesitant to express his feelings to you. He probably cares about you and he shows his emotions to you through his actions.
