I have curly hair and I thought that by now it would be the length I want it to be. I'm waiting around and it seems like it isn't growing like it should. What can I do to speed up this process?

Keep getting it trimmed, with curly hair only 1 time every 8-12 weeks. Also, getting regular scalp treatments where they exfoliate your scalp and massage it gets the blood flowing to the area and causes more hair growth stimulation.
The whole myth about brushing your hair 100 strokes every night... well, that has some merit as it does stimulate sebum (oil) to flow and also stimulates blood flow. Both the oil and the increased amounts of blood can trigger better, healthier hair growth.

If you do hot oil massages it helps hair growth--

Hot oil massages: Warm 2 tsp. of olive oil and 2 tsp. coconut oil and gently massage every part of the scalp for 10-15 minutes. Rinse a towel in hot water, wipe and wind the hair around the head as it cools. Repeat 2 or 3 times to issue total saturation. After that, shampoo and rinse well. It is good for brittle dry hair.

Keep it trimmed properly, get plenty of water and nutrients in your diet, brush your hair with a good quality brush to evenly distribute the natural oils in your hair, alternate shampoos. Gelatin is good to help your hair and nails grow. Knox makes unflavored that you can get to add to drinks for joint/hair/nail care.

COCONUT OIL!!!! Put the coconut oil in your hair and let it sit. The longer it sits w/out being washed off, the faster your hair will get thicker and longer. I PROMISE it works. But really anything thats got coconut in it is good for your hair.
