just say NO. this is the quickest way to either lose your job, or be forced to quit due to the working environment becoming too miserable.

I have never been one to date in the work place (manager or not). Recently~at a previous job, I had dated my boss~for a quick second~not that things turned bad or anything, and we did separate our work from~play?~but, let's just say I do NOT have that job any more~and PS. I was NOT fired~ LOL :) I think it is best to think before you act~and see if you can separate the two (work~play) I thought it would be very hard to separate them~but it actually wasn't~but you just seem to find yourself on occasion, daydreaming while at work~not a good thing~I would suggest, leave the work and home life separate~I can not see myself getting involved with anyone at work again~Good Luck~ :)

Wish you had stated your age, his age, if he is married or not , and what kind of job this is. To answer you in general terms, it is done. However, if you don't want to go out with him, .. you shouldn't feel obligated. Besides, once you go out the first time .. then what ? .. It could feel really weird around the office for you afterwards. Good Luck! :)
