If you are a LEGAL immigrant, don't you get angry at others who just snuck in and got away with it? Don't you feel angry that you spent time, money, and effort to come here the right way...and then watched as others get away with don't things the wrong way. That is not fair to you and me that illegals can break laws and we would go to jail for breaking any law.

Do you have statistics backing this up or just trying to further your agenda?

I am a legal immigrant that came here the 100% legal way but I don't blame many of those who couldn't do the same thing since it is really hard to even get permission to get into the country. I really consider myself blessed, rather than proud because I know that if I have what I have is because of God's grace and not because "I worked hard for it." Another factor is that it is too expensive to come here the legal way AND with the chance that they may deny you without giving you any refunds. The poverty in many of the countries illegal immigrants come from was originally provoked by the U.S. government, so now the country is just suffering the secondary-effects of their leaders' external policies.

My solution to this problem is to enact and enforce the same immigration laws of that wonderful (yeah right) Mexican president vicente fox (not capitalized because he does not deserve the respect). Check out the Mexican immigration laws. Ha! That worthless thing they call a president is the problem.

By the way "Fercristernag 39345" .. I would much rather my taxes go to a CITIZEN OF THIS COUNTRY than some lying, cheating illegal immigrant ... because a CITIZEN HAS the RIGHT to be here.

Do you really believe every legal immigrant to your country got there by strictly following rules? If so, you are so deluded.
Who lets in all the terrorists? Your immigration officials, that's who. Meanwhile the poor peon who only wants a better life for his children is vilified and tossed around like yesterday's garbage.
The fact that he has no money to pay off someone to look the other way has no bearing in all your calculations right.?
You know what you are? A bully that's who and let me tell you that's nothing to be proud of.

A Hispanic organization estimated that 1/3 of the illegals here today are family of the people given amnesty in 1986.

To the post above me, your own government approved NAFTA to serve the interests of SOME in your country. Blame them, not us. We who are hurt by illegal immigration didn't benefit from NAFTA either.

And Freddy, what gives them the right to ruin our schools and health care by taking services we fund for our own people? Protecting what we worked for for our children does not make us bullies.

There is no right to come here, at all.

There is a political overtone to all of this immigration and those who oppose it are subject to some pretty powerful people who are intent on taking over the west coast..

The average American breaks 10-15 laws in his/her lifetime, if we use this to judge than every one in the US is an "illegal". It's called progress, as humans we should endure to make things easier and more livable for our posterity. That is what our founding fathers did! If that is your argument than I support everyone once they become 18 yrs old should have to make the same journey our forefathers did, go through the same hardships, face hunger, fear, uncertainty, not knowing if what you are striving for is going to actually work, would that be "fair". Seems to me these "illegals" do the same as our founding fathers every time they attempt to enter the US to find a better life for themselves and their families.

Lori G.....Wake up and reconnect, Vicente Fox is not president of Mexico anymore. And your taxes do go to lazy US citizens, illegals can't draw welfare!
