Why is my computer usage at 100%?

I have 1gig ram, 200gig hard drive and its a AMD 64. I went into processes on task manager and there are a lot of them..should i end all of the processes or what else can I do to make my cpu go down?

check processes & see what application is using up most. that application might be frozen. try ending that & see how things go.

go to the task manager and hit the cpu usage button that will show you what program is taking up your memmory. if it is part of the operating system you should uninstall and reinstall it if its not just shut it off.
