I am only tempted to have unholy relations when I am drinking. Or, when I am about to drink, or have just stopped drinking. Or, when I am thinking about maybe drinking.

I don't think it's the booze, I think it's the becoming of a congressman, and one with instant messaging, that makes you a sex pervert.
As I understand Foleygate, a young Foley was molesting his relatives before he was ever drinking, oddly enough.

I don't know...it's never turned me into a sex pervert! And it's never, ever made me send nasty im's to a 16 year old page who surely is going to show someone who will use them to end my career and stir stuff up right before election time!!! I'm sorry...I don't think it can be blamed on the booze!

When they get caught, they use alcohol as an excuse. It's as good as any and has been used to explain lots of behavior when individuals don't want to take responsibility for their actions.
