my dog grunts i mean puppy grunts like when im holding when i pick him up or whenever

he mainly does it when hes chewing on things!!

Does it seem like he's in pain? If not, he may be grunting with pleasure, because he likes you and likes it when you touch him. Can you tell if he seems happy or sad when this happens?

wut kind of dog is he?...hm...i have no idea...maybe you irritate his esophagus when you pick him up...i havent heard a dog grunt unless it was a short nosed breed. Have you asked the vet?...if not i would ask them. maybe there is a problem with his throat or something.
