I have some percocet, but I'm not sharing. If you have tried Tylenol often, switch to Advil for a while - even alternate the two. Put a cold cloth on the back of your neck or on your forehead. That sometimes helps too. If the light hurts your eyes, turn them off and lie quietly. Good luck.

Follow your spine to the base of your neck. Then rub it as you would in a massage. There's also the temples; but, be careful not to apply too much pressure if you do because they are sensitive.
You might also have a sinus infection in which case there are numerous over the counter drugs that your local pharmacist can recommend. If this is the case though, expect your nose to run non-stop for a couple of weeks as your sinuses clear up.

It depends on the type of headache. I get chronic migraine headaches. In general, Tylenol has never worked for a headache. Ibuprophen (Advil, etc.) works better...and narcotics such as Vicodin (hydrocodone) work better still. If you have migraines specifically, then Imitrex and the other tryptans work well. In addition to medication, lying down in a dark room with a cold pack on the back of your neck can also help. Also, drink plenty of water and eat regularly to help prevent certain types of headaches. Good luck! Headaches are miserable!

I am not sure how old you are so am reluctant to give this answer, but in all seriousness, when I have a headache and asprin/tylenol doesn't work I make a move on my fiancee. Sex works everytime to rid me of a really bad headache.

i have this problem every once in a while. if you take medicine and nothing helps, and if the headache causes sensitivity to light and nausea, it's (more than likely) a migraine.
i've found that when medicine doesn't work, excersizing does! go jog for 20 minutes or so or do some yoga or calisthenics. get your blood flowing.
if this doesn't work, try stretching your muscles and then taking a hot bath.
go see your doctor and tell him or her what's up and they can prescribe a medication for you, if you're not willing to try home remedies.
i hope this information helps you because i know what it's like to go through these headaches. they suck! i hope yours get better :)

One of the best remedies that i have found is to take a warm washcloth and lay it across your forehead. Laying down in a dark room also helps.

You may have a sinus infection and not know it. My husband did. He didn't know til he went to the doctors. That is what I would do.
