RECIPE
(this is the same recipe as on the cards, but in writing only... I thought some folks might like to preview it).

1 1/2 cups frozen strawberries
1 sliced frozen ripe banana
1 cup apple juice

Peel and slice the banana (if it isn't already).
Put strawberries, banana and apple juice into a blender.

OPTIONAL: Add 1 Tbsp vanilla ice cream.
Blend and pour into a glass.
Serve.

I make a sick smoothie. I get frozen strawberries, frozen pineapple, frozen raspberries, and frozen (i grow my own, which might make a difference as these are more flavorful) blueberries. I also use milk and a half of a banana. I do not recommend using a green banana. I prefer ones that are just going brown on the skin, but yellow is fine. If it helps, all the fruit I use (except for the blueberries) are Dole fruits. Also, for some reason i put it all in the blender in order.

frozen pineapple - 2 or 3 cubes
1/2 banana
frozen strawberries - 3-5 berries
frozen raspberries - a handful or two
frozen blueberries - a handful or two
milk to fill up a little below the top of the line of berries

Blend on ice crush
pour into 16 oz glass, drink with straw

tastes like candy to me. i can't get enough of these

When I make my smoothies I put in a handful of frozen strawberries, handful of raspberries, handful of ice, either orange juice, orange pineapple juice, or strawberry juice, and yogurt (about four spoonfuls). Sometimes I add an once of strawberry daiquiri sauce to the smoothie and then blend.
