No body completly loves themselves and the answer isn't surgery. Just accept yourself for who you are and if you can't do that then you may need to see a councilor or someone to help you get through this. Age doesn't affect the way people feel about themselves, and only you can help yourself truly, to feel good about yourself.

i disagree with the getting drunk thing too and i also disagree to an extent of the wording of other people's comments. i totally agree that there are people out there that are in really bad situations and of course we all want them to be helped, but at your age this is big for YOU...if you were older, your stresses or worries would be focused upon something different (children, finances, etc.). You don't know how bad someone feels until you are in their shoes.....therefore, if this is something that you TRULY feel and it TRULY bothers you, then something needs to be done about it. Don't let someone tell you what you Should and Shouldn't feel, because if you feel it, then it's really there....i do feel that you need to distract your mind from these thoughts rather than dwelling on them, because that will only bring you farther down....don't suffer through this anymore....go and get help...talk to a friend, counselor, parent, someone.....God made you just the way you are, if he wanted you different, he wouldn't have made you that way in the first place....hope things get better for you!!

Many your age are having similar problems. Here are some tools that may help. This can be a real adventure.
1. take responsibility for things you can control. Is there anything you can do to make changes? lose some weight, change your hair style, maybe ask someone at a beauty salon for advice.
2. Your view of yourself isn't always correct. A bulimic or anorexic person thinks of them self as fat when everyone else sees a very skinny person. Are there anyone who you trust who knows you that you can talk to about this? Just to see if they can understand what you think about yourself?
3. Here is something that anyone can do to make you feel better about yourself. Start doing nice things for others, be thoughtful, considerate, helpful. If you notice something nice about someone else tell them that you noticed. Start doing little things that would make people like to be around you. Think about what makes you feel good about yourself and give it to others.
This is something that changed me from a quiet, bashfull, painfully shy person into a person that was free to be myself and that people enjoyed being around

Hey, nobody is perfect and we all have things that we don't like about ourselves. I hate the fact that I used to be a size 10 and am now a size 16!!! But it's not what you look like that matters, it's your personality and how you treat people. I have come across some stunningly gorgeous people who have been complete arseholes. Believe me, most people go for personality over looks!! I know I do!!

I disagree with the "get drunk" advice given by someone here. If you are depressed, alcohol is the last thing you need. People do stupid things when they are drunk, and that will only add to your problems. I think the best thing you can do is make changes - look at your life and decide what you don't like, then change it. I know that sounds easier than it is, but it's certainly worth trying.

There is an advert in New Zealand that says ".....I have 10 fingers, 10 toes, 2 eyes, a million hairs, two arms and two legs but do you know what the world only has one of? ME!!!" I myself have wonky teeth and odd nostrils and abit of a wobble in my butt cheeks if the truth be known, but f***k it! As far as I'm concerned there is no-one quite like me and I'm pretty darn sure there is no-one quite like you either x x

I have worked with people with disabilities, they never worry about how beautiful they are or are not, why is it that we are never satisfied with what we have.Just go and spend a few days in a hospital looking at the facial scares some poor people have to live with than go to the mirror and tell your self hell I'm bloody beautiful every day, than go and do a drama workshop and build your confidance up high. see you are beautiful

its called inferiorety complex, not happy with your looks or body, but you probably never would be, you need more confidence, but you can't buy it in a can or an operation.
Make an apointment to see your GP and ask to be refered to se a counciller. you could always look up M.I.N.D. on the internet, they were good at helping my wife with agrophobia.
Good luck and best wishes
