i told this guy ( over the internet) that im 18 ... and he's 21. he asked me if i wanted to be his online gf and i said " ok" but he's way too boring!!!! I can't believe i said yes! I guess i was desperate. Anyway the gist is i'm not actually 18 and now he wants to meet me... he lives in michigan somewhere. I know we probably won't try to meet because he's broke and doesn't have a pot to **** in...(but yet, has a computer) he still lives with his parents and doesn't have a job! What a loser! I already broke up with him once but then I got back with him because he was so depressed ( he has no friends) I want to get on with my life and not have to talk to him on msn everyday! How can i break up with him and tell him the truth?
P.S I know, I know, I shouldn't have lied in the first place! But please help!

Ok first of all I think you are weak for getting back with a guy just because he was depressed!! You need to stand up for yourself and only invite people into your life who make you happy that they are there - not because you feel sorry for them. You need to cut off all ties with this guy and don't talk to him ever again. I don't see why you are "so screwed"!! Just stop talking to him!! You are not committed to this guy so grow a backbone please!I I don't want to sound harsh but I watched my mother in an abusive relationship for 26 yrs before she finally left my father. It gets me angry when girls stay with a guy because they feel bad. He'll get over it.

That is a very difficult situation, not just b/c u lied to him, but it could be said that you took advantage of his vulnerability, knowing that he is depressed, it does not help to patronize him or lead him on. It will cause false emotions in him and could create a dangerous environment for you. The world is not as big of a place as we give it credit for being. The best thing you can do now is to just cut the entire thing off. You do not know this man or what he may be capable of. Stop talking to him!! I work with the mentally ill and depressed and have witnessed first hand the fact that you could be putting either him or yourself at some very real risk. Think about the possibilities of what could happen when you talk to people on the internet, especially when it involves something as intimate as a relationship.....b/c even in a computer based one, feelings can get very much involved and hurt, and that can cause some serious issues.

You've got to tell him the truth. NO matter what you say, he's going to be hurt. You can not keep going back to him because he has no friends or is depressed. That's what happens when you break up with someone.
You've got to move on, and you've got to help him move on by telling him exactly how you feel and to request that you two stop talking. He'll make new friends if he wants to.

Tell your parents, put the guy on ignore and leave it at that. Just because he say he's 21 doesn't mean he's not 41,owns a van, which he will drag you into, tie you up and take you away.

This is difficult, if you don't want to change your e-mail address, you can either block him from contacting you, or just tell him the truth, about your age, or heck just tell him you are really a boy and you are confused about your sexuality, that will get ride of him quickly.

Your so screwed. I would just tell him you lied, but don't tell him where you live(he may be desperate enough to stalk you). Also, if he is depressed, try to break up with him, but still be friends and try to get him help.

Just tell him you are under aged and your parents found out he was talking to you and said you could no longer have any contact with him. Stop lying about your age you could get someone in trouble.
