Fat people want to get into shape because the cult-ure of fitness (emphasis on the word "cult") tells them that they are worthless if they're fat. The United States has the idea that the bigger a person is, the less they are valued as a human being, until they reach a big enough size that they are no longer valued as human at all. They are perceived as some sort of monster.

i dont understand what you mean, but some fat people want to become skinnier and more athletic. I do not know what you mean by a pear or an apple is a shape.
